After previously releasing on all the mcpe seeds platforms a few weeks ago, 4J Studios is accommodating bring the most up-to-date title update to the sandbox creation title on the Playstation 4 edition of Minecraft.  Despite the fact the patch launched around the Playstation 3 and PS Vita within the holidays, unknown issues kept the update from becoming offered to Playstation 4owners in North America.  Thankfully, the developer confirmed on Jan. 5 actually now dealing with Sony America to find the content released for the PS4.
